Consider sharing your time and talent with those that are less fortunate. You’ll be surprised by the benefits you receive by giving to others in this special way. Most of us feel we don’t have any time or talent to spare, but that’s rarely the case. Even a couple of hours each week can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Give to others and get more in return. Consider these benefits:
There are many people that need help for one reason or another. Whatever your position in life, guaranteed there is someone struggling who needs your help or your knowledge in some area of their life. We all have something to share with others. Plus, you can gain a new perspective that makes your own life seem more manageable.
Help others and help yourself in the process. You can’t do something nice for someone else without benefiting in some way. Over 75% of the population doesn’t volunteer in any capacity. Even one hour each week can provide benefits, both to others and you.

Manifesting wealth and abundance begins from within. You have to appreciate what you have in your life already – your family, friends, and job. Instead of focusing on what you wish you had, act as though you already have it. If its love connect with the feeling of love. If its money you desire, connect with the feeling of having all the money you need.
Often people waste precious time thinking about what they don’t have. They start to believe their lives will improve if only they had more money, or more friends, or more gadgets. They think about what’s lacking instead of the abundance that is already overflowing into their life.
If you appreciate what you have, you’ll instantly see the steps necessary to bring more of what you want into your life. It’s like buying a new car then seeing it everywhere you go. That’s because your mind is focused to bring it to your attention, The cars were always there you just didn’t see them because you were focused on not having the car of your dreams. From a practical point of view, this all starts with living in gratitude for what you already have. It will instantly open your mind to all the ways of attracting more of what makes you happy.
Now at first, this may sound difficult, but living in gratitude is rather easy. Start with the little things like “I appreciate my car starting today,” or “I’m grateful for this rainy day it gives me time to watch a movie instead of doing yard work.” Appreciating the good around you doesn’t mean you’re completely satisfied and fulfilled. It simply means that you are grateful for all the good parts of your life, and you’ll soon recognize that you can take those things, even if they are few, and build upon them. That’s how we attract more of the same!
Very often we take our lives for granted and forget to give thanks for all that is good. If you’re having a tough time recognizing the goodness in your life, then make a gratitude list and continue adding to it everyday. For example:
If you can be happy with what you have now, you’ll have a deeper appreciation for the better circumstances that are coming to you in your future. Just imagine how much more you’ll appreciate your eventual move to a large home with a spacious property if you begin to enjoy your current humble place now.
If things seem to be not going well for you. Be thankful for the lesson. For Example:
If you can find the lesson in the situation and not feel that life is happening “to you” instead of for you, you will soon see more positive things flowing toward you.
Keeping Up Appearances
During this holiday season it’s a good time to remember, the term “wealth” doesn’t only relate to money. You can be wealthy by having a loving family who visits often or friends who care for you like one of their own. There’s much more to life than who has the latest designer purse or fanciest sports car. Material possessions alone do not make an abundant life.
If you constantly compare yourself to your neighbor, based solely on material possessions, you may not fully understand what your neighbor’s life is like. He may appear wealthy on the outside, but perhaps he is suffering in his personal life or in great debt. Be very careful making judgments about others because you never truly know what’s going on behind closed doors.
First Steps Toward Wealth is Leading an Authentic Life
When you don’t have a lot of material possessions and monetary wealth, it ironically becomes easier for you to learn how to save money. Saving money is paramount if you want to build monetary wealth, but in order to do so, you have to learn how to delay gratification. That means you must make sure you’re making more money than you’re spending. Ideally you want to pay for everything you have, not finance it – without truly owning your possessions and going into debt, you’re actually moving farther away from wealth.
Besides saving money, the real way to build wealth is to make more money. That may sound rather obvious, but too many people aren’t making the money they can and should. They are stuck in jobs they hate working for someone else. You have to make the conscious decision to get unstuck from your dead-end job and the rat race. Look inside yourself and decide what are you passionate about. If money wasn’t a factor, what would you want to do each day?
You have to rise above the crowd and do something different. Be authentic to who you are. That may mean you have to discover creative ways for you to make money. Are you a healer or an Artist? Is there a hobby you do for fun but would love to make it your full time job? Whatever the case might be for you, you can elevate yourself once you find your passion.
If you’re unhappy with the money you’re making or the life you are leading, you need to start thinking about ways to change it so you can realize your dreams. Don’t get caught up in the excuses of why you can’t make a change (I don’t have the money/education/support) just start moving in that direction. One tiny step at a time with no limiting beliefs. Be grateful each day that you have a new opportunity and take a small action step to reach your goal. Now go get started!

Vida, the creeping vine, enjoyed sharing the garden with all the other plants. They all got lots of sun and were gently cared for by their owner, Melanie.
One day, however, Vida noticed that she was growing much faster and far away from the other plants. While they continued to grow upwards from the ground, she started to spread across the back wall.
"Hey, Vida" remarked Ruben Rose, "Where are you heading to? Don’t you want to be our friend anymore?"
"Of course I want to," replied Vida. "But I'm not sure what's happening to me!" She continued in a disappointed tone, "Oh, I wish I was growing like you guys are!"
One day while Vida was busy bemoaning the fact that she was so different, Melanie came into the garden. When she looked up and saw that Vida was covering the back wall with lush greenery, she shrieked with excitement.
"Oh my goodness! How beautiful!" she exclaimed. "I've been waiting so long for the back wall to look like this. I'm so happy I planted a vine!"
When Vida heard this, she was suddenly filled with gratitude for her uniqueness. She had no idea that what was happening to her would bring so much joy to Melanie, and so much beauty to the garden!
"Now I know better than to complain about what I have," she said to herself. "From now on, I'll be sure to find the blessing in everything and be thankful."
Melanie spent many days showing her friends just how beautiful her garden was because of her vine.
Moral: When things seem like they aren't going your way, be patient and grateful for all your blessings anyway.
Vida totally enjoyed her life until she realized it was taking her in an unexpected direction. That new direction confused and frightened her. She resorted to complaining because it wasn’t what she wanted. She was happier with how her life was going before.
In time, however, she realized that if she spent some time thinking about it, she would have identified the blessing. Thankfully, it wasn’t too late for her to turn her frown into true gratitude.
That's likely how life is for you sometimes. You're fine with how things are going, and completely disappointed when they change. It's important, however, to find the blessing in each situation you encounter.
Changes in life usually mean better things are on the way for you. Take the time to identify what those better things are and be thankful for them.
When it's difficult for you to see where a new road leads, have faith that it leads to positivity. Be grateful for the opportunity to experience new things. Appreciate that your situation is one that many others wish for.
Use each moment you have to focus on the good things in front of you. The more time you spend embracing blessings, the more blessings come your way.
1. What are some of the blessings in my life that I take for granted?
2. What steps can I take to turn a disappointing situation into a positive one?
3. In what ways can I express gratitude each day?
I wake up feeling thankful for all I have in life from the smallest pleasures like the sun rise to my greatest love of my family, friends, and future relationships.
I savor every small pleasure in life too. I notice when a neighbor takes a minute to greet me with a smile and chat about the weather. I think about how delicious my first cup of coffee tastes. I take a moment each day to sit in silence and just acknowledge my happiness and joy.
I started to keep a journal this summer too. I write down not only the pleasant things that happen to me each day but my dream episode as if I'm already living it. My perfect life. My perfect partner. My perfect business. My perfect friendships. I make a point to be grateful for each thing that brings me closer to my dream life too.
I show kindness to others. I try to be creative and memorable, so my friends and family know how much I appreciate them. When possible, I pick up the phone to hear their voice or just write a quick text "I'm thinking of you right now."
I think about how much others have helped me, and I try to contribute something back. I may return a favor directly or I may do something nice for a stranger. I'm a strong believer in giving to others, not to get back but I believe I can't become better without first lifting someone else up and it's so simple.
I give thanks for my relationships.
I let my best friends know how much I count on their love and support. I tell my children that I am proud of them for trying regardless of the results. I trust my partner with my private thoughts and encourage them to pursue their dreams. I say I love you, I miss you, I'm thinking of you....and I truly mean it.
I give thanks for my health. Having a strong mind and body makes it possible for me to do the things I love.
I give thanks for my faith. I pray for my spiritual teachers, guides, and friends who help me to clarify my beliefs and make sound decisions. I have peace in knowing that all is unfolding in according to divine planning.
Today, I cultivate a sense of gratitude from the moment that I woke up. I notice the good things in my life and acknowledge the many acts of kindness that I have received. This is a glorious time to be alive, and I am so grateful you read my blog today :)
